I don't know whether it was a good idea for the Bush Administration to support a coup to drive Hugo Chavez from power.
I'll make it easy for you Mark as someone who is no fan of Chávez: review your history. It's never been a good idea, especially not in Latin America, nor is it right to support a coup to drive an elected official from office, unless of course they are committing crimes against humanity, which is not the case here.
That's what referenda are for.
