What is it with this guy Rezko? Today Matt Lauer ambushed Hillary Clinton by showing her a picture taken with the now notprious Chicago financier (and "slumlord") at a political event. Unfair? Probably as the picture was one of those typical "meet and greet" photos that people like to take with the famous and put on their "Ego Walls." But any different from Obama? Well its true that he and the aforementioned had a somewhat closer relationship but, aside from the SUN-TIMES, so what? The LA TIMES just did a piece and found what? Nothing really. Maybe Barack could have done favors but the subjects at hand was indicted before he really had a chance and nothing chills a relationaship with a pol like a court date. A house deal? Again everyone who has looked at it cannot find the proverbial smoking gun. Its a nice house. So?
But, like Whitewater and Norman Hsu (whom the prosecutors have been at pains to announce defrauded Hillary), it sounds bad so lets muck it up.
Meanwhile The Bush Administration wants to tie the hands of the next President by making a security deal with the Iraqi Government that will commit our troops there for the foreseeable future. And how much have you heard about that?
