Via Atrios, here at "futuremajority.com"are key numbers on the stunning South Carolina turnout among young people (tripling the total for a 50% increase as percentage of the electorate.)
Most of the post-SC commentary - including the increasingly egregious Bill Clinton's snide aside that "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina twice", as he shrugged off Obama's trouncing his replicant- ignores this critical factor in the Obama phenom, which serious Democrats who look to the future rather than the past should make a prime consideration in choosing the '08 nominee.
(In other news, will "Liberal Lion" Senator Ted Kennedy's Obama endorsement, coming tomorrow, shut up the chorus of folks who continue to make the false claim that Obama is some sort of stealth "conservative" and/or less of an authentic "progressive" than the recycled DLCer from New York he's running against ?)
